I normally try to make the kids wait until after my birthday to put up the tree, but I’m feeling festive quite early this year. The pumpkin pie is gone, bring on the ham!
Banana, apple, tangerine, and 2 fistfuls of greens, puréed til smooth. I’m hoping this will help counteract some of the excesses planned for tomorrow.

PB gets his mincemeat pie early, since he’s the only one who likes it. Growing up, I thought it contained ground mice. Never did acquire a taste for it after that!
I also made dressing and sweet potato soufflé, in an effort to spend time with family on Thursday. Can’t wait!
I’ve got one of the world’s happiest TV-watching dogs. He loves nothing more than curling up next to the boys and watching movies, except when flying dragons, thestrals, monkeys, owls, birds, superheroes or robots are featured.
